ConnectMe – Community Enterprise Programme

What is it and How can it help me?

It is a free* course that will help you;
• gain confidence and skills towards finding employment
• start up your own social enterprise

What will I learn?

Invaluable new skills and knowledge to help you find work. If you’d like to solve problems in your community, you will learn the basics of how business operates and be provided with tools to set-up a social enterprise.
Delivered over 6 sessions, you will learn how to make your idea a reality.
Session 1 Introduction: all about you and your aim
Session 2 Building your plan – making it work
Session 3 Working with others
Session 4 Marketing and promoting yourself
Session 5 Basics of Finance & Legal
Session 6 The Toolkit and planning further support

At the end of the programme you will be given further support including the Entrepreneur Toolkit that will help you develop your plans and ideas even further.

Who is it for?

*Anyone who is currently out of work, working 16 hours or fewer per week or in full time education. Further eligibility checks apply, please contact us to confirm your place.
